Specialized Moorings

HEC has designed, installed and repaired mooring systems for U.S. Navy ships to small boats. These include hurricane/typhoon moors, underwater multiple array suspension moors, four point moors, all-quiet moors and deep water moors. We have also worked on specialized designs for cable routes, non-conductive materials, high electrical power transfer, unique joint and anchor systems, as well as  submarine net anchors and underwater mine anchor systems. Each system is carefully designed to minimize galvanic corrosion and electrolisis.
